We are only 20 minutes away from the M6 motorway and the West Coast Main Line railway station at Penrith making getting here very easy indeed.

We are also proud of the amazing local views over the Northern Fells behind Skiddaw and Blencathra, two of the Lake District's highest peaks.

Spectacular fell walking for all levels of experience, mountain biking, horse riding, rock climbing, sailing, canoeing, swimming, off-road driving and more, are available all around you. You don't even need your car in many cases.

Carrock Cottages are a perfect location for dog owners as we are dog friendly and in the middle of some excellent dog walking country.
